Works 100% now, and most customers don't report this problem, so it's not a recurring thing. I really love the gun because it has a great 1873 Colt vibe, so even though the ...I ended up frankensteining the two and took all the good working parts between the two and combining them into one functioning revolver. If you plan on fixing it and keeping it, I would say buy extra parts. hammer, trigger, trigger spring, hand w/spring, locking bolt are the common broken/wore out parts.
