Infiniti g37 issues
I've been having a recurring problem with my 2008 Infiniti G37. I've been to the dealer for the problem previously, but given that they periodically come back, I can't help but think they're treating the symptoms and not the disease. Basically, what happens is that the car will occasionally have trouble starting.Apparently this can happen from excessive bumping or shaking of the car that caused it to hit a chain, and damage the pump. the pump is cheap, but the labour to fix it sucks ass. infiniti said its a 7-10 hour job, and on average they charge $125/hour. The quote for the fix is an astonishing $1200 for parts and labor. To break it down it was: Heater Core = 250est. Labor = 650est. Recharge the AC Unit = 150. Flush the Coolant System = 89. After all of the taxes and other stuff the total was 1199.
