We missed to file an extension for her (just realized her H4 expired). 1.However, my passport was set to expire in FEB 2016. My I-94 has the same expiration date as my passport. I did renew my passport. Online I-94 and on passport officer mentioned valid until Feb 2016 (passport expiration). but on I-797, when I get h1b extension before travel back to home country. I got i-94 which date is July 2017.

The document requirement clearly states under passport section "In case of a Minor, parents are requested to provide a copy of parents' passport & copy of parent’s valid Visa status in the USA ( for Non-USA passport holders)".
