The correct model number for the stainless Dan Wesson 357 revolver is 714. A Model 14-2 would be a blued 357 Dan Wesson with a fixed rear sight. The 714 is the stainless Dan Wesson with a fixed rear sight. Here's a picture of my 714 with a few mix and match Barrel Assemblies.

Being new to this Forum, I did not realize that the current company did not seem to have this information.Serial number data is based on information provided by members of the Dan Wesson Forum. It is a Model 13 .357 Military & Police, made in 1979. That should make it a Model 13-2, introduced in 1977. If you open the cylinder and look on the frame in the yoke cut, you should see either MOD 13-1 or MOD 13-2. My guess is it will be the latter. I'm no expert but I can tell you that the model 11 is a very early Dan Wesson, probablly from the very early 1970's. It is a fixed sight model, unlike the model W-12 which has adjustable sights. It has the early exposed 'ugly barrel nut' which retains the barrel shround and tube. These guns are usually very accurate shooters.I have a .357 magnum Dan Wesson revolver but having a difficult time identifying the model. It was made in Monson, Mass and has a 6" barrel, serial number is 86xxx.
