I have both (P226 and USPc) and it's a tough choice. I like both because they are hammer-fired pistols which is my preference. Both of mine are DA/SA. Both shoot 40S&W and 357sig with the HK also able to shoot 9mm. Both are very pleasant to shoot with in the 40/357 configurations.I own both the G17 and P226, but have more experience carrying/training with the Glock. I think that you need to realize that the Glock 17 and 22 are not the same frame/slide/barrel. The interchangeability that exists in the Glock is only between the 357 and .40 on the Mod 22 Chassis (Slide, frame) only.
