I worked up loads with the 139 i-lock using the Winchester min to Max (51gr), I found 47 to 48 gr loads were printing 1moa groups. While I don't have a 7-08 I have used IMR 4064 in .257 Roberts, .30-06 and .35 Whelen, in my experience it has given me better accuracy than Varget and RL-15. But who knows every rifle is an individual, might as well try Varget and RL-15 as they are good choices.
I did see a max load of 44.6 gr of Varget with a listed velocity of 3,050 fps which I'm assuming would be at or close to max, if not a bit past. I've never loaded that hot. If somewhere between 44 to 46 grains doesn't shoot straight something is wrong with the rifle. It should give right around 2800 fps from a 22" barrel. Do start lower, though. The Sierra manual tops out at 43.7 grains, Nosler at 44.5, Speer at 45 and Hornady at just over 46. ….

I am trying to decide between 120 TTSX or 120 hammer hunters. I have heard spectacular things about the hammers accuracy and ease of load development.The burn rate charts show Superformance to be slower than the 4831's. That's going to be too slow for the 7mm-08. Wonder how long it going to take for experimenters to work up loads for this powder. A high level hobbyist with pressure testing and chrono capacity should be able to handle the task.1.
