On my previous Samsung the bottom hole was 10.5" from the bottom and that was a 70" TV. I think both are VESA 400x400 mounts. In my previous post, I mentioned it was sitting about 8" higher on the wall, but I guess it's less.

Seems to be coming more frequent. Sometimes the tv will appear off completely and the backlight will start to glow a minute or so later.
