Remove the thermostat display from the base to expose the wires that are attached to it. Turn the thermostat to heat only and disconnect the Rc wire while leaving the other wires connected. The next step is to remove the Rc wire and look at it. A minimum of one millimeter of exposed copper must be present, with no bends.Turn the power breaker off. Remove the red wire from RH. Ensure that the wire is flat and straight. Move the red wire from RH to RC terminal. The terminal tab should be pressed down. Make sure to turn the breaker back on. Check if the issue persists. Could be as simple as a clogged drain that is tripping the float switch or as bad as a blown transformer.
