The Doctoral Capstone Experience is an individually designed, thorough student experience in a practice setting in one or more of the following areas of study: clinical practice skills, research skills, administration, leadership, program and policy development, advocacy, or education. The quality varies significantly and there is no standard (ASHA does not accredit SLP doctoral programs, only AuD and Master's programs).
