I decided to fruit this bag of Uncle Ben's Rice in the bag and just wanted to share the results. Began fruiting conditions 10 days ago on August 24 and today is the first day I saw pins. I'll post updates in this thread. If you have coir, id recommend mixing 2 full colonized bags with coir and coffee in a small tub.Here are the results: Picture on the left: uncle ben bag by itself. Very small mushrooms, came out to a total around 5 grams dried from all flushes. Picture on the right: same uncle ben bag but mixed with 1/4 brick coir, 1 quart vermiculite, and 1.5 quarts water. Mushrooms were much larger and healthier.

Brf isnt the past and ub isnt the future. They are both beginner methods. Anybody who stays on ub if they continue to grow, will waste so much money buying bags. 5kg of brf is about $10 depending where you get it.
