Yes, apparently SIG has dropped the "wound wire" recoil spring and has gone to the "single wire" spring, at least for the P229. There have been a few reports from members, confirmed by SIG CS, about this change. Make it real; keep it respectful.

G10s are grippier. Have them on my Legion 226 and 225-A1. Black Piranhas on P220 Equinox. But the M11-A1 is a throwback model to the P228, which had the same grips. Looks great and grip is fine.It seems like the only place that may be a problem is the slide lock/release on the M11-A1. If that is a problem I'd imagine some gentle dremel tool action would remedy it. The M11-A1 is my ccw weapon and so I'm also curious if the 229 Legion grips are noticeably fatter than the standard M11-A1 grips.
