Very much my thoughts. Everyone loves a revenge story, but therr are children whose lives are made worse because the OP decided not to notify his brother he was selling up. In moving house, 2 months vs 1 month notice is a big deal.Could have been “AITA for using my son’s saving to fix his stepbrother’s car which he damaged”. Stepson should press charges and this kid should have to pay him for the depreciated value from the damage. Much better having him experience the consequences of his actions with the law now than when he hits 18.
