Few hours after the test I tried the "Pearson Vue trick". All my classmates that had passed before me said it worked for them and I tried to put my credit card in, but put one number off on it, like the expiration date. I did so, and I got the bad pop up, "card is invalid, please renter" or whatever something like that.

The good pop-up means you get kicked from the billing system before it tries to charge your card. If you'd put in enough invalid information you would've gotten the bad pop-up, which shows an invalid card. A bad pop-up doesn't necessarily mean you failed. There have been false positives.
