As far as I know, your chance of an Angel Room appearing only diminishes when a deal with the devil is paid with health. As long as you pick up the free copy, you should still have a chance of Angel Rooms appearing. If you take devil items in some way without losing hearts to it, you won't eliminate angel deal chance.

Making it so you can Jera other Jera runes would mean that you can just hold 2 to the chest, then just keep making infinite chests.
