I just bought a set of these the other day. I've decided against doing a rope mod for now and sticking with the cam buckle straps. I cut pieces of bicycle inner tube and pulled over the metal buckles. I just received the Hawk Helium 20 in sticks and I think they'll work great. Bought some tubular webbing and made a 1 step aider. I think I'll be able to get as high as I want with them. I have the regular Hawk Helium sticks as well. They're great but they stick out of the top of my pack a good bit and snagged on low limbs easily.

They have a tensile strength of 1600lbs with a working load of 320lbs. We offer 3 sizes of loops to accomodate variation in versa button size. The daisy chains for the larger versa button climbing sticks like the hawk helium and lone wolf will need 2.75" loops. For smaller versa buttons like the shikaror lone wolf custom gear will need 2" loops.
