I've been playing FFXIV on Steam Deck for months. Never had to use XIV Launcher. I got my Steam Deck late last year after compatibility had been approved, and it's always worked great. Was created a folder on my desktop named if Pokemmo. Put the roms, put everything in the folder I needed to and ran the program. Got it working and tested. Transfered the whole folder to a usb drive. Took the usb drive and used a USB to usb-C adapter plugged that into my steam deck.
