I'm still confused - there is no voltage to the electric choke until the engine is turning over (cranking or running) and the voltage is directly from the alternator so can be as high as 45 to 90 volts with the engine running in the higher rpm's. Nov 28, 2010 · now restarted polaris, it did die fully in about 2 seconds after starting it. gas is 3/4 fuel. i restarted again 2 more times and all sounded normal and correct. when i got home, restared 2 more times, no issues. it alweays ran fine, sounded fine while driving today.

It's a 2005 skinko with 150,000 miles . Car has been sitting under carport for almost a year . The starter speed seems to be close to the same during each attempted start but it does take a long time for it to fire up the first time it starts but as stated will not start again if engine dies or if ignition is turned off untill it completely cools off . 2 to 4 hours or longer .
