I’ve replaced my temp sensor and it is still doing it. If I unplug the battery and reconnect everything will work just fine for a few days, and then stops working again.Performance. Unplug the a/c high pressure switch. If the ECM sees that the high pressure is very high it will command the fans to be on, in an attempt to lower the pressure. If the fans kick off when you unplug the sensor you have found the issue. If not, I'd say take it to someone that has access to the factory scan tool and service information to diagnose it.

The engine coolant temp sensor is located next to the area where the upper radiator hose go on the top of the engine on the drivers side.
